The individual-player path
Know how entry works, what to expect on the field, and what to confirm before your first kickoff.
From your first enquiry to your first game
Individual players enter through the local club. Existing recreation teams have a separate entry path and separate event terms.
Check the date, age groups, location and entry status for Florida or Virginia.
Both events use GotSport. Choose your state and select Register your player to open its application.
Use the official provider, review the total price and event terms, and keep the confirmation.
Watch the guardian email for team arrangements, kit collection, check-in and the final game schedule.
The published individual-player package
Both GotSport programs list $75 per player and a 3–4 game guarantee depending on final divisions. Uniforms and awards are proposed and remain subject to host confirmation.

Virginia
Age-appropriate play
Virginia uses 5v5 for U6/U8 and 7v7 for U10/U12. Florida lists 5v5 for U6, U8, U10 and U12. The diagrams below illustrate Virginia’s age formats.

Dynamo model · proposed four-team flight
Explore the model one stage at a time. The final schedule, rest periods and division arrangements come from the host.
Dynamo’s proposed model uses a private, balanced draft. Coaches consider experience, age and positions. Players are not publicly ranked.
Dynamo’s model is an example for this guide. It does not confirm MAYSO’s match count or competition structure.
Learn the reference. Check the local rules.
The Soccer Shootout rulebook is the 7v7 reference used by the club pages. Final Cup rules, age adaptations and roster limits come from the event team.
The 7v7 reference uses two 22-minute halves and a five-minute break, with a running clock kept by the referee. Rolling changes and reentry are allowed through the substitution area. Goalkeeper changes wait for a stoppage.
The reference uses kick-ins, no offside and no required build-out line. Goalkeepers cannot punt or drop-kick. Check the full rulebook for restart distances, time limits and goalkeeper handling restrictions.
In a tied knockout game, one attacker has five seconds to score against a goalkeeper. Teams take paired attempts until there is a winner; no extra time is played. Pool draws can stand.
The 7v7 reference counts direct-kick fouls by half. The sixth and later team fouls trigger a running shootout, with penalty-area fouls handled as penalties. Referees administer cards and playing-clock penalties under the full rulebook.
Wear the event’s numbered jersey, socks over shin guards and suitable soccer footwear. Remove jewelry. Keep the goalkeeper distinguishable. Confirm your roster, check-in deadline and kit collection arrangements with the host.
Dynamo lists U6/U8 as 5v5 and U10/U12 as 7v7. Final roster sizes, age-specific playing time and local adaptations come from the event team. MAYSO lists U6–U12 playing 5v5. Both official player programs list two 15-minute halves and a four-minute halftime; final event rules come from the host.
